ICFOSS Training Centre incorporates a number of space types to meet the needs of trainees, trainers, and staff. These includes:
Large-size rooms designed for lecture-style instruction and training. The rooms can accommodate lecture-style instruction or encourage interaction in the form of round table discussions and teleconferences.
• Conference rooms : Multiple purpose large-size instruction rooms.
• Seminar Rooms: Multiple-purpose, small-size instruction rooms, usually used to accommodate a small number of people within close proximity.
• Audio/Visual-Equipped Rooms: Rooms equipped for audio/visual and Internet-based instruction.
• Computer Training Rooms: Rooms equipped with computer workstations and Internet access for each trainee.
• Dry Laboratories: Media based, such as electronics.
• Trainee Storage Spaces: Lockers, coat closets, or cubbies for trainees to temporarily store their possessions.
• Trainer Offices: Its a shared space with equipments, including computers, phones, fax machines, desks, libraries, and supplies.
• Cluster instructional areas around central, shared support and resource spaces. Shared resource spaces which includes informal gathering spaces, shared seminar rooms, computer kiosks, and trainer offices.
• Movable modular furnishings.
• Classrooms of various sizes to accommodate a wide variety of group learning sizes.
• Spaces in keeping with the educational and programmatic goals of the facility.
• Computer and Internet connectivity at desks . Equipping fixed desks with under-top computers to ensure adequate sightlines between trainers and trainees.

Training objectives of ICFOSS
The main objectives of ICFOSS in conducting the sessions are participants should leave with an deeper understanding of what an Open source is & about its software and how to get started with the software and its community.
Each hands-on session refers to the obtaining or transferring knowledge, skills and ability process needed to carry out a specific activity or functions; so, the benefits of training and development both for organization and individual are strategic and hence much wider. Thus our goal mainly focussing on participants career development and enrichment, thus expanding individual, group and organizational effectiveness. As it is our objective way to determine whether training achieved its goals, we are providing assesment tests to the participants to guage their involvement in sessions imparted and to pay close attention to the given sessions.
ICFOSS Training Methods and Activities
Each hands-on session was included with supporting documents such as copies of training materials, slide presentations, training exercises, which are beneficiary for the attendees. ICFOSS used to display the background component describes a training summary while starting a session constantly in all trainings. At the end of each training course, the participants were provided with course certification along with goodies, handed out by the authorities of ICFOSS. We are also providing assessment tests to the participants in the form of examinations to pay close attention to the all the sessions they attended.

Delivery Methodologies
• All participants were provided with a Training Manual. A variety of learning delivery and assessment methodologies were employed, in an attempt to enable the course to be participatory and interactive and to allow participants to effectively assimilate the new ideas and learning.
• Importantly, emphasis was placed on adult learning methodologies and over the duration of the course there were a combination of Lectures
• Analysis of case studies and class discussions of illustrative case studies
• Group Discussions
• Individual and group work/assignments
Assessment Methodologies
Participants were required to undertake post-tests (the questions of post test is usually used to assess how much the participant knew before the training and how the training built their capacity). The certificates are issuing based on the performance in assignments, Examinations & Project. Moreover participants should meet our attendance criteria to be eligible for the participation certificate and course completion certificates.
Course Evaluation
The first level is evaluation which measures the feedback of trainees towards to the training program and learning experience. Several questions are raised during the assessment level in order to find out to what extent the trainees like the training and whether they feel that it is worth while activity to spend their time and effort.
The second level is learning evaluation which measures how much the trainees learned through the training, whether they improve their knowledge and skills.
The third level exploresthe changes in the trainees‟ behaviors. Did the trainees apply what they learned and gained into practices? To what extend about the trainees‟ improvement results into the implementation when they return to their job. The effectiveness of training is guaged by how training impacts and influences to the overall organization. At the end of the course, participants were provided with a course evaluation on line form to share their experience. Here Participants were asked to respond to some relevant questions. Over all we have received very positive feedbacks from the participants who attended the session.

Course Planner
The course plan covers on which supplemental lessons and creative projects are incorporated into the class plan. Some classes may move faster or slower than the suggested pace.
Supplemental Lessons and State Standards
The main chapters concentrate on particular a topic. Certain states may require additional topics ranging from computing ethics and security to career exploration to the impact of computers on modern society. The course contains additional supplemental chapters at the end that can optionally be used to meet common state requirements. Teachers may choose to assign Supplemental Lessons as desired to meet state standards or student interest.
The final “Creative Project” is optional and can be completed in small groups or individually. Working in small groups is sometimes required by state standards. This project can be scaled up or down to meet available class times.
